Biography

2018-19: Spent the season with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) and led the club in defensive goals (7), assists (19) and points (26) through 61 games played...Tied for the team lead in playoff points after posting one goal and four assists in seven games...Earned KHL Defenseman of the Week on Nov. 26 following a week in which he posted two goals, one assist and a plus-2 rating...Named to the 2019 KHL All-Star Game in January as a replacement...Represented his home country of Sweden 17 times—the most of any defenseman—and chipped in two goals and four assists in international play...Signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Chicago Blackhawks on Aug. 12, 2019.
