NOTES - Was named to the Pacific Division AHL All-Star roster during his rookie season and recorded two points (two goals) at the All-Star Challenge on Jan. 29 in Utica, N.Y.
2017-18: Spent his first professional season with San Jose (AHL) appearing in 67 of the team’s 68 games and led Barracuda skaters in goals (23) and points (48) as a rookie; his 48 points ranked seventh among AHL rookies in scoring … Recorded the most goals by a Latvian-born AHL player since the 1998-99 season (Herbert Vasiljevs - 28 goals) … Made his AHL debut on Oct. 7 in a 6-4 San Jose win at Stockton and recorded his first professional career goal and assist as part of a multi-point effort … Appeared in all four games of San Jose’s Round One post-season contests against Tucson (3-1 series loss) after making his professional playoff debut on April 19 … Registered his first career AHL playoff goal and point in a 6-3 win against Tucson, while also recording a professional single-game career-high four points (two goals, two assists), on April 21, after which he was recognized as the game’s first star.
