Biography

2016-17
On June 21, acquired by the Vegas Golden Knights from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for a conditional third-round draft pick.
Made NHL debut with Minnesota on Feb. 4 at Vancouver and skated in five more games.
Spent majority of the season with Minnesota’s AHL affiliate, the Iowa Wild.
Recorded 18 goals and 19 assists for 37 points and finished one point behind the club’s leading scorer, captain Pat Cannone.

2015-16
On April 13, decided to forego final two collegiate seasons and signed three-year entry-level contract with Minnesota.
Appeared in 40 games and registered 34 points (18G, 14A) as a sophomore at Boston College.

2014-15
As a freshman at Boston College, skated in 37 games and only missed one game while representing the U.S. at the 2105 World Junior Championship.
His 28 points (14G, 14A) made him the first freshman to lead Boston College in scoring in 42 years.

2013-14
Selected by the Minnesota Wild in the first round, 18th overall, of the 2014 NHL Draft.
Spent two seasons (2012-14) at the USA Hockey National Team Development Program and skated in 64 games and recorded 42 points (17G, 25A).
Earned a gold medal with Team USA at 2014 Under-18 World Championship.
Helped the U.S. to a bronze-medal finish at the 2012 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
