Drafted: Selected by Minnesota Wild in the second round (#60 overall) 2011 NHL Entry Draft ... Career Notes: Enters his second full pro season in 2017-18, having signed a three-year, entry-level deal with Minnesota on May 27, 2016, which started in the 16-17 season… 2016-17: Was among Iowa’s scoring leaders when he suffered an injury in February, essentially ending his rookie season after 44 games with nine goals and 22 points. Placed third among all Iowa rookies in goals, assists and points… 2015-16: Signed ATO with the Iowa Wild on Mar. 29, 2016, turning pro after four years at Notre Dame. Made his pro debut with Iowa at home against Manitoba on Mar. 30, 2016. Picked up his first point and first multi-point game with two assists in a 4-2 Iowa win at home over Manitoba on Apr. 1, 2016. Scored his first pro goal in a 4-3 shootout loss at San Antonio on Apr. 8, 2016. Wrapped up his collegiate career tying for second on the team in goals and finishing tied for fourth on the team in points as a senior. Helped the Irish to the NCAA Tournament. The team posted a 54-4-0-2 record en route to a regular season championship and a Doyle Cup.  Led the BCHL in goals scored. Named BCHL Rookie of the Year. Named to BCHL All-Rookie team.
