2016-17
Selected by the Vegas Golden Knights in the Expansion Draft and signed a one-year contact with the club on July 6.
On Feb. 27, traded to the Arizona Coyotes, skated in four games and recorded an assist.
Spent majority of the season in the AHL’s Iowa Wild and finished third in team scoring with 36 pints (18G, 18A) in 47 games.
Appeared in nine NHL games with the Wild and recorded a goal.
Signed a one-year deal with the Detroit Red Wings on July 13 and then claimed off waiver wire by Minnesota Wild.

2015-16
Re-signed with Detroit on July 21 and spent entire season in NHL.
Skated in career-high 36 NHL contests and posted NHL career-highs with 12 points, 6 goals and 6 assists.
Earned a silver medal with Finland at World Championship.

2014-15 
Appeared in 31 NHL games for Detroit and registered 8 points (5G, 3A).
Netted first NHL goal on Jan. 20 against Minnesota.
Led the AHL in goal scoring with 34 tallies and earned the Willie Marshall Awards as league’s top goal-getter.
Selected as an AHL All-Star and named to to First All-Star Team.
Skated in 46 AHL games with the Grand Rapids Griffins and led the club with 34 goals and finished only behind Andy Miele in team scoring with 61 points.

2013-14
Made his NHL debut on March 14 against Edmonton.
As a rookie, led Grand Rapids skaters with 31 goals and 59 points.
Shared the lead among the AHL first-year class in goals, finished fourth among league rookies in points and earned a spot on the AHL All-Rookie Team.
Averaged more than a point per game with 11 points (5G, 6A) in 10 postseason contests to lead the Griffins.

2012-13
Made his North American debut for Grand Rapids in April and scored first North American postseason goal at Houston on May 1.
Part of the Griffins Calder Cup championship squad and played in 14 postseason games and tallied 5 points (2G, 3A).
On May 29, signed a three-year, entry-level deal with the Detroit Red Wings..
Played in final SM-Liiga season for Jokerit and finished tied third in team scoring with 34 points (14G, 20A).

2011-12
Ranked second in Jokerit team scoring with 37 points and 16 goals.
Earned a bronze medal in SM-liiga action.

2010-11
As an 18-year-old, finished second on Jokerit squad with 54 points, 18 goals and 36 assists.
Led all league rookies in points (54), assists (36) and goals (18) and earned SM-Liiga Rookie of the Year honor.

2009-10
Selected by the Red Wings in the fourth round, 111th overall, in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
Won a Under-18 Worlds bronze medal and several tournament accolades: named Directorate Best Forward, All-Star Team selection, and one of Finland’s Top Three Players of the Tournament.
Led tournament skaters in goals (10) and points (15).

2008-09
Won a bronze medal with Finland at U18 Worlds.
Recorded 24 points (9G, 15A) in 12 international games for the under-18 Finland squad.
Also played in 24 games for Jokerit U20 SM Liiga and registered 28 points (15G, 13A). Had 10 goals and 12 assists in 5 games for Jokerit under-18 club.

2007-08
Played in 11 international games for U17 Finland and scored 8 goals and 14 points.
Netted 5 goals and 8 points in five games at World Under-17 Hockey Challenge for Finland.
