Career Notes: Enters his ninth pro season in 2017-18, having signed a one-year, two-way deal with Minnesota on July 1, 2017… 2016-17: Played his second straight season in the KHL for Ufa Salavat Yulayev. Suited up in 48 of the teams 60 regular season games, posting a 14-17-12 mark. Played alongside Minnesota draft pick Kiril Kaprisov. Opted out of the second year of his contract to return to NHL… 2015-16: Played his first season in the KHL, leading the league in wins with 29 after playing in 53 of the team’s 60 regular season games.  Finished tied for 7th in shutouts with five. Went 9-10 in the playoffs with a 2.54 GAA and a .912 SV %... 2014-15: Played the majority of the season with Boston (NHL) as the primary backup to Tuukka Rask, while also suiting up in 4 games for Providence (AHL). Recorded his first two NHL shutouts, the first one coming on Oct. 18, 2014 as he posted 32 saves in a 4-0 win at Buffalo… 2013-14:  Finished 8th in the AHL for wins, 10th in minutes played, and tied for the league lead with 51 shootout attempts against, stopping 33 of them for a 64.7% save percentage. Also, tied for the league lead with 7 shootout wins, going 7-4 in 11 shootouts. Made a season high 41 saves in a 3-1 win at Manchester on Dec. 31, 2013. Made his NHL debut at home vs. Nashville on Jan. 2, 2014, stopping 35 of 37 in a 3-2 OTW. It was his only appearance of the 2013-14 NHL season. Was 4-4-0 with one shutout, a 2.70 GAA and a .905 SV% in the 2014 Calder Cup Playoffs… 2012-13: Spent the majority of the season with the AHL’s Providence Bruins. Was named the AHL’s Baz Bastien Award winner of 2012-13 (Outstanding Goalie). Made his AHL debut on Oct. 19, 2012 against Manchester – stopping 30 of 33 in a 4-3 road win. Finished 5th in the AHL for GAA (2.17), 2nd in wins (37), suffered the fewest losses (8) among goalies with more than 20 appearances, placed 3rd in the league for SV % (.925), tied for 11th in shutouts (4), first in shootout attempts (62), shootout saves (49) and placing in the top 5 for shootout save % (.790).  Recorded his first AHL shutout with 18 saves in a 3-0 win at home over St. John’s… 2011-12: Final season in SEL, split time in net with Johan Holmqvist. Played with future NHLers Jakob Silfverberg (ANH) and a Calle Jarnkrok (NSH)… 2010-11: Served as the backup to Thomas Greiss, as well as Silfverberg and Jarnkrok…  2009-10: Played majority of the season for SEL’s MODO Hockey Ornskoldsvik, playing alongside NHLers Mats Zuccarello, Peter Forsberg, Markus Naslund and Josh Green.
