Career Notes: Enters his seventh professional season in 2017-18 after re-signing a one-year, two-way agreement with the Minnesota Wild on June 27, 2017… 2016-17: Set Iowa team record for assists in a season with 29. Led Iowa in scoring with 38 points in 73 games played. Tied for second on the team with 13 power-play points and eight power-play assists. Recalled to Minnesota on Dec. 19. 2016 - his first career NHL callup. Made his NHL debut for Minnesota on Dec. 19, skating in 9:11 of ice time and going 5 of 7 in the faceoff dot. His NHL debut was the second oldest in Minnesota history at 30 years of age (jLubimir Sekeras, 31). Played in his 400th AHL game on Feb. 20, 2017 - a 4-2 win at home over Cleveland… 2015-16: Spent the entire year with the Chicago Wolves, serving as the team’s Captain. Selected to the Western Conference All-Star team. Named All-Star MVP, leading the Central Division group to a 3-on-3 tourney victory (team included Iowa’s Gustav Olofsson). Led Chicago in scoring and posted career-highs in goals (2nd on team), assists (led team) and points… 2014-15: (Postseason) Registered a pro career-high with 6 points (all assists), a +3 plus/minus rating, and 5 shots in 5 playoff games. (Regular Season) Accrued 47 points (14G, 33A), 18 penalty minutes, and a +11 plus/minus rating in 64 games. Led the Wolves in assists and ranked second in points and plus/minus rating. Tied his AHL career-high twice with 3 points (both G, 2A) on Oct. 18 and April 2. Rode a season-high five-game point streak from Jan. 31 to Feb. 11, tallying 2 goals and 4 assists… 2013-14: (Postseason) Contributed two points, both assists, and had 15 shots on goal while appearing in all nine of the Wolves’ Calder Cup playoff games. Dished out two assists in a Game 1 overtime win in Rochester on April 25, his first professional postseason points and first professional postseason multiple-point game. (Regular Season) Registered 34 points (16G, 18A) in 59 games, missing time early in 2014 with a broken finger.  Paced the Wolves with a career-high +24 plus/minus rating while ranking third in goals and fourth in points on the team. Delivered the first hat trick and first +4 plus/minus rating of his pro career during a 7-2 victory on March 8 at Abbotsford. Recorded his first point in a Wolves uniform with an assist in the team’s third game of the season, a 3-1 win on Oct. 12 vs. San Antonio. 2012-13: Contributed 10 goals and 15 assists in 74 games for Binghamton, along with 41 penalty minutes.  Saw action in three postseason contests for Binghamton, but was held scoreless while registering four penalty minutes.  Registered a four-game point streak (G, 3A) from Nov. 10-22.  Posted a three-point game (2G, A) on Dec. 7 against Portland. Ended the regular season on a six-game point streak (2G, 4A).  2011-12: Accrued 43 points (19G, 24A) and 32 penalty minutes in his first full season in the AHL, suiting up for 76 matches with Binghamton.  His 43 points placed him as the third-leading scorer on the team. Named Binghamton’s Top Defensive Forward in end of the year awards. Was one of only two players on the team to dress for all 76 games.  2010-11: Posted a multi-point game in his AHL debut, notching a goal and an assist with Binghamton. Totaled two points and two penalty minutes in two games for Binghamton in an end-of-the-season run. Although he was with Binghamton for the Calder Cup Championship, he did not suit up in any playoff games as an amateur turned pro under former Iowa Head Coach Kurt Kleinendorst… 2010-11: Concluded his collegiate career at Miami University (Ohio) with his best offensive output, putting up 37 points (14G, 23A) and 25 penalty minutes as a senior. Served as co-captain his senior year. Led Miami University (Ohio) to the 2010-11 CCHA Championship. Did not miss a game his entire collegiate career, putting him second in all-time games played in school history.  Named 2010-11 All-CCHA Honorable Mention.  Ended his collegiate career with 133 career points, placing him 15th in school history… 2009-10: Set his collegiate career high in goals with 14, while also collecting 17 assists, in 44 games with Miami University (Ohio) as a junior. Helped Miami to the 2009-10 CCHA regular-season title, the team’s first in school history. Named to the 2009-10 All-Midwest Regional tea. Led Miami and was second in the CCHA with 10 power-play goals on the season. 2008-09:   Tallied 11 goals and added 24 assists for 35 points in 41 games with Miami University (Ohio) as a sophomore. Tied for second in the CCHA for power-play points… 2007-08: Began his collegiate career with 24 assists and 30 points in 42 games with Miami University (Ohio) as a freshman. Recorded the sixth-most assists by a freshman in Miami history… 2006-07: Spent one season with Cedar Rapids in the USHL, gathering 37 assists, 55 points, and 46 penalty minutes in 59 games. Placed as the team’s second-leading scorer. Notched seven assists and eight points in six playoff games with Cedar Rapids. Selected for the USHL Prospects/All-Star Game.
